About John Sweers

First of all I’m proud father of 2 children, the drummer of a band and love to play football. In my working life I am an experienced groupleader of technical teams with a bachelor education in electronics. Coaching, motivating and inspiring people, continues improving and being responsible for the right output of the department. Good communication (open, transparant, honest, clear), standing in between the people, easy approachable and building trust characterize my way of leading a team. I like working at companies with a good culture. Respect, teamplay, quality instead of quantity and a continuously learning and improving environment. A culture where it’s aloud to make mistakes and people and safety are the first priorities- Working as teamleader of the field service engineering Benelux department at Vanderlande since June 2020. Leading a multi cultural team in a customer service minded environment. Team consists of 25 to 32 engineers including 2 teamleaders and a work preparation team- Worked for 2,5 years at Neways advanced applications as teamleader of a PCBA test and repair/customer returns department (responsible for a team of 45 production employees)- Worked for 4,5 years at Neways advanced applications as test engineer - Graduated at Prodrive as quality engineer, graduated specialization is analog - Worked for 2.5 years parttime at Prodrive as service engineer (during college)- Finished bachelor (HBO) electronics engineering - Finished MBO electronics
