About John Talbot

After graduating with a degree in African history, I drove small trucks and worked in warehouses to finance backpacking trips to Africa. A few years later, it made sense to build on what I knew by signing up for the Cranfield MSc in Physical Distribution Technology & Management.(The same MSc is now titled “Logistics and Supply Chain Management”.) It's been good to work in a field that has allowed me to earn and learn on four continents and across a raft of sectors: FMCG, Beverages, Apparel, Pharma, Automotive, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Trading & Distribution, Third Party Logistics, Retail and E-commerce. It’s also great that opportunities to innovate and transform seem to be growing, not shrinking. As the co-founder and CEO of LCA-Savills, I’ve had the privilege of building a great team who works ‘hands-on’ across every aspect of the supply chain. We support global and local companies, 75% of which become repeat clients. Our clientele comprises global giants such as 7-Eleven, Bridgestone, Coca-Cola, DHL, Heineken, Johnson & Johnson, McDonald’s, Mondelez, Nestle, P&G, Shopee and Unilever – as well as many Asian champions.
