Quality is free if you do it right the first time. I manage on-time/on-budget installation of light rail transit Systems & Comms projects (incl. radio & 5G cellular). My LRT experience includes projects in Vancouver (3), Calgary, Edmonton, & Ottawa. I'm currently on contract at AECOM Transportation as 'Systems Installation Specialist' in Burnaby BC. Through 2023 as Construction Project Manager on Vancouver's Canada Line LRT 5G station upgrade project for TELUS/Bell/Rogers, we completed on-time installation of new 5G power, antenna, & fiber infrastructure for 8 operating Canada Line underground stations. My key strengths include LRT Systems construction leadership (including subcontractor management), knowledge of LRT Systems & Canadian Electrical and NFPA130 codes, high productivity within Microsoft Office/Teams/Zoom environments. Proven success on new or operating LRT Systems projects, problem solving with contractors (including change management) and key decision-making skills ensure cost-effective/on schedule/ on-budget projects with NO surprises. My Systems Project Management portfolio includes over 10 years directing Systems installations on the following SNC Lavalin (now Atkins Realis) rapid transit projects: 1) Canada Line Vancouver- Tunnel Radio (incl. EECOM), TELUS tunnel cellular (completed 6 mo. early) 2) West LRT Calgary- LRT Signaling, Tunnel Radio, select Station Systems incl. PICO (opened on time) 3) NAIT Line Edmonton - LRT Signaling, Tunnel Radio, Stn. Systems incl. PICO 4) Evergreen Line Vancouver - Guideway Intrusion Detection system (460 sensors), tunnel & above ground Radio 5) Confederation Line Ottawa - led Bell P25 Tunnel Radio & TELUS 4G LTE cellular installation teams in 3 underground stations. Tunnel radio & cellular installations were installed on time/trouble free. 6) SNC Lavalin's Vancouver Light Rail Systems team: I authored the Eglinton Crosstown Systems PICO and other Eglinton and Ottawa Systems documentation, worked on bid proposals, and supported Systems colleagues in Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa. 7) Canada Line Vancouver (2022-23)- see TELUS 5G upgrade project listed above. I have successfully completed 'Project Leadership' & 'Project Management' PMC Certificate classroom programs at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton; these programs included 12 PMP modules that provide essential tools for project management professionals.
