About John Thorpe

I co-founded BreezeML in 2022, where we help companies evaluate and secure their AI systems before production. I built our platform from scratch, serving enterprise customers in banking, financial services, and HR.As AI systems become increasingly critical to business operations, companies need robust ways to test for safety, quality, and reliability before deployment. BreezeML helps organizations stress-test their LLM applications, verify AI-generated content, and track model performance. My background is in distributed systems and large-scale ML infrastructure. I completed my PhD at UCLA, where I published research at NSDI and OSDI on scalable and fault-tolerant training systems for deep learning models including large language models and graph neural networks.I'm always interested in connecting with people working on interesting problems in distributed systems, infrastructure, and ML platforms.
