About John Tierney

With a background in Architectural Technology and 30+ years in Project Management I have extensive experience in project planning from concept to execution. I have been directly responsible and successfully delivered projects in a wide variety of environments; biotechnology laboratories, high tech facilities, medical research, healthcare in acute and extended care and most recently in the development of commercial office towers. I was Development Project Manager responsible for the $75m City Centre project located in Surrey’s downtown core. Responsibilities started with assembling and managing the design team from concept through to building permit application. I was tasked with all aspects of the municipal process subdivision, rezoning, and design panel approval. Once this award winning development was under construction I was responsible for assembling and managing the sales team of real estate brokers to sell the strata office and retail spaces. As spaces were sold I then managed design and fit-up to the unique requirements of the new owners.
