John Tierney, managing director, is a member of J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities (GFICC) group. Based in Tokyo, John leads the investment specialist team responsible for promoting GFICC's investment platform to existing and prospective clients across funds and institutional channels in Japan. Previously, John was on JPMorgan Commercial & Investment Bank's FX Sales team covering Japanese financial institutions. A heritage-Bear Steans employee since 2006, he was a member of the mortgage derivatives group in New York before secondment to Tokyo's Financial Analytics and Structured Transactions (F.A.S.T.) team.
