About John Tinley

As a QA Engineer at LTi Technology Solutions, I apply the critical thinking skills I acquired at university to design, execute, and automate testing procedures for software products and solutions. I work with a team of developers, analysts, and project managers to ensure the quality and functionality of the software, and to identify and resolve any issues or defects. I have over six years of experience in the QA field, starting as an underwriting intern at National Indemnity Company, where I performed data analysis and validation for insurance policies and claims. I then became a QA Analyst at the same company, where I developed and maintained test cases, scripts, and plans for various applications and systems. I joined LTi Technology Solutions in February 2022, where I have been involved in testing projects for clients in the equipment finance industry. My mission is to use my analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality software products and solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the clients and users. I enjoy learning new technologies and tools, and I am always eager to take on new challenges and improve my testing skills and knowledge. I am also passionate about math and physics, and I seek opportunities to apply them outside the classroom. I am a recipient of the James Earl Scholarship, which recognizes outstanding performance in mathematics courses and activities.
