Accomplished Business Executive, Investment Professional, Actuary, Teacher, and Mentor. I joined Two Centuries Investments to help its founder Mikhail Samonov focus on his primary goals. • Generate creativity-driven outperformance, with a focus on exploring previously unmeasured sources of alpha, performing fundamental analysis in a differentiated way, and integrating the latest technologies. • Help clients navigate market turbulence, via investment strategy design and investor education. I also welcomed the opportunity to teach an undergraduate finance course at UTSA. The students are fantastic. My goals are simple. • Inspire young adults to learn more about financial markets and to help them improve their critical thinking skills. • As someone once said,"When one teaches, two learn." Serving on the Investment Committee of SLLHM is icing on the cake, helping others assist those in need. In summary, I am inspired to be like the teachers who instilled in me a passion for learning and the mentors who encouraged me to push my limits. The two biggest lessons from my business career are to be comfortable being uncomfortable and to listen patiently.
