Over the past 19 years I have progressed through various roles for AVEVA’s Gas Suite. I started as a technical specialist, then architect and currently I am the development manager. The Gas Suite is a large database application running SQL Server consisting of over 300 tables and over 1500 SQL stored procedures of over 500K lines of SQL code. The graphical interface is written in C# and consists of over 100 forms and reports. I also worked on the technical documentation, user documentation, installation, troubleshooting, defect management, support, test procedures, and mentoring a local team and an offshore development center (ODC) in India.
