I am a results-focussed leader with deep experience in business transformation, the practical application of AI, data modernisation and automation, process re-engineering and operational excellence but, most importantly, in making lasting change that matters. I believe intensely that the future of work is digitally enabled, and it is all about flexibility, collaboration and simplicity - making change today has to achieve these objectives to create great outcomes that stick. My key strengths are being able to create a vision for the future, design the way to get there and then help people on the journey. I am enthusiastic about working with a diverse range of people, systems, processes and technologies to get the job done, and my track record to date shows this is how I do my best work. Highlights: I have successfully delivered many business transformation initiatives over the years – both as a business leader and program lead – but some of the achievements I am most proud of include: • accelerating the growth of two technology businesses by designing and implementing a go-to-market strategy, increasing enterprise delivery capacity, investing in talent and cutting edge in-demand digital capabilities in a fast moving market whilst rapidly growing revenues and margin in line with aggressive targets • Designed, built and implemented an organisation-wide growth strategy and roadmap to facilitate an organisation's global scale-up aspirations, achieving a threefold increase in its revenues and the expansion of its operating footprint into APAC and the US within 3 years. • Delivering $140m+ of transformation benefits over a 3 year period at Qantas, whilst also improving team engagement in that time • Successfully re-engineered business processes using intelligent automation, data and AI technologies to deliver considerable margin improvements whilst sustainably increasing customer and employee advocacy • Securing public recognition for Qantas as a leading global airline in sustainability, including organising Australia’s first ever flights powered by advanced biofuel • Creating an enterprise risk and resilience capability to proactively reduce crisis and incident impacts • Specialities: organisational leadership, business and digital strategy, go-to-market strategy, organisational design, change management, business process redesign, intelligent automation, data & AI, shared services management, environmental sustainability, organisational resilience, safety and security management and assurance Please feel free to contact me via LinkedIn.
