About John Vaughan

Experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the aviation and aerospace industry. Skilled in developing and testing quality C, C++, C#, Python, XML, and JSON code. Strong engineering professional with a Bachelor of Science - BS focused in Computer Science from Murray State University. During the course of my career, I have held the titles of Martial Arts Junior Instructor, Inventory Auditor, Engineering Intern, Front End Assistant, and Software Engineer. As you can see, flexibility, sometimes physically as well as mentally, has been a staple of my career. However, anyone can adapt to a new position, but to adapt and succeed in a position requires a myriad of skills. To harness my flexibility towards success, I learned to be disciplined, honest, cooperative, humble, and self-aware. I used these skills to develop others such as communication, teamwork, efficiency, reliability, and dependability, and I summoned all of these skills to bolster my adaptability to thrive in every position I occupied. To add, I used many of these skills to improve my application of these skills to further enable mine, my team's, and my employer's success. Whether I am teaching others Tae Kwon Do, managing a store's inventory, testing a company's website, assisting cashiers at the front, developing code for a hardware system, testing code for a hardware system, or serving as Scrum Master for a team, I seek to succeed in my positions, and while I may mistakes along the way, I always seek to learn, adapt, and triumph at every turn.
