About John Vint

PMKConsult was established in 2011 predominantly as a project management consultancy and quickly developed into a business which was highly reputed throughout the UAE and the GCC region as a whole and it soon began offering commercial management services as well. I am a degree and FRICS qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years experience in the Middle East. I joined PMKConsult as Commercial Director following the acquisition of ACS in early 2021 in which I held a similar position following my departure from an international construction consultancy where I was a director for 25 years. My main objective has been to develop commercial management business for the company together with seeking out project management opportunities. My experience has spanned most construction and engineering sectors including hospitality, healthcare, aviation, commercial, retail, residential and education. Specialisms in the past have included embassies and historic building restoration. Notable project experience has included my role as Project Director for commercial management services on the Yas Marina Circuit and Cleveland Clinic projects in Abu Dhabi. I have also been involved in providing investigative and forensic services such as independent and jointly appointed expert in dispute resolution, extensive project audits, project rescue and peer reviews. This led me into also providing Expert Witness services since 2003 for several clients (both Employers and Contractors) in the UK, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. PMKConsult’s ethos (and one with which I have a high affinity with) is to put people back into the project and commercial management services based on creating long lasting personal relationships, providing a second to none quality of service and attentiveness to it’s clients needs, a recipe that has led to repeat business throughout the region and beyond. The company is now active in the UK, mainland Europe, Africa and elsewhere in Asia.
