About John Voris

I graduated from Fresno State in 1981 and began in production agriculture working for Simonian Fruit Company in Fowler, Ca. as a Field Representative. A few years later I started my career as a Chattel Evaluator with Farm Credit and joined a small Production Credit Association here in the Central California Valley. Consolidation within the Farm Credit system resulted in the merger of Central Valley Farm Credit and American AgCredit. I've been in various roles since our joining in including Senior Appraiser and later with a leadership role as Regional and District Appraisal Manager. I assisted with the developed of our Chattel Evaluation Services Team in 2018 and was appointed Head in early 2022. I hold the Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation with the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers as well as maintaining a Certified General appraisal license in California. I've held temporary practice permits for real estate assignments in several states and currently lead a Chattel Evaluation team which practices across the US. I've assisted with the development of appraisal curriculum and have taught processional courses for the ASFMRA (state and national) as well as at the university level, Fresno State.
