About John Vu

John Vu is Associate Partner at CL2B, a circular economy consultancy in Ho Chi Minh City. In his role, he oversees business development and client services. He also advises Starprint Vietnam JSC, a premium packaging supplier in Vietnam on sustainability and communications projects. As Business Operations Manager at Pacific Links Foundation, he oversaw the implementation of modern slavery awareness training to over factory workers in over 20 factories in Vietnam, and was a Vice Chair on AmCham Vietnam’s ESG committee. In Bangkok, he spent time as a communications consultant for UN Migration (IOM), Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. John started his career in sustainability in the Silicon Valley, where he worked for global communications agencies servicing cleantech companies and startups. John holds a dual master's degree in Global Studies from Humboldt University of Berlin and FLACSO Argentina, and a bachelor's in Public Relations from San Jose State University. In his spare time, John also manages SVK (Saigon Viet Kieus), a diverse 3500+ member community focused on networking and support for 'returning' overseas Vietnamese, and Green Drinks Saigon, a monthly networking event for professionals passionate about sustainability.
