Marion County School District In Marion County School District, SC I work as an Administrative Assistant at Marion Intermediate School. I assist the Principal in making our school one of the top schools in the state. Marion County Schools, SC is a wonderful place to work. It is a small rural school district where staff members are treated like family. Our district consists of two high schools two middle schools, along with several elementary schools. There is a great Pre-K and Early Learning Center in our district that gets better each year. The location of Marion County Schools offers the best of both worlds. We are located between the hustle of Florence County and enjoyment of Myrtle Beach, SC. When you move to Marion you can enjoy both, but get to live in the peace, quiet, and beauty of our historical wonderful community. I have been in the education system for 26 years. Working in the school districts of Darlington, SC, Moore County Schools, NC and Marion, SC. I have had the honor during that time of teaching students between the grades of 1st - 11th. In my tenure as a teacher I have been privileged to be a football and basketball coach at the varsity level. I have been a high school head football coach at two different schools and a head varsity basketball coach at one school. I have had the enjoyment of working with the younger student-athletes at the middle school as well.
