Accomplishments: • Designed and implemented standard manufacturing methods for various product groups, significantly reducing scrap, and cost of manufacture by up to 50%. • Lead cross-functional team designing,and successfully implementing a complex G.E. source approved gas turbine aircraft engine component repair, saving the company $43K per month. • Designed and implemented Apache helicopter gearbox bearing installation system reducing processing time, and improving product quality, saving the company $2K per gearbox assembly. • Managed design for manufacture activity, supplier liaison, and product QC compliance, contributing to the successful launch of project Neuroarm, a robotic brain surgery initiative.
