About John Whittington

A call to ministry led me first to work as a pastor then on to the military as a chaplain where I recently retired from service. Presently, I am passionate about preserving marriages and families and serve others through mentoring and small group education of both. After pastoring, I moved into the steel industry working for both distributors and manufacturers in either sales or purchasing positions. Eventually I switched from steel to plastics where I worked first for a plastics distributor buying and selling plastics of all varieties. In Jan 2014, I started Greenview Materials with my son and a friend. Today, we have two recycling facilities with one in WI and the other in MO. We take all types of plastics scrap and export and import a variety of materials: commodity and engineering grades. We have shredders, grinders, and balers. In Jan 2014 we also started DW Baseball Company focusing exclusively on high quality gloves and wooden bats. Gloves are produced elsewhere under our label and requirements. However, bats are our specialty and they are turned in house and now also with our own special wood composite bat.
