About John Wilde

Currently, I assist in the; designing, planning, managing and delivering of specialist infrastructure. As an architect I seek to promote both the art and science of architecture and to assist in championing; better buildings, communities, the environment with a special interest in the architecture and the Local architects of the true south-west in Devon and Cornwall. My background has been; living, studying and working as an architect and construction professional in the south-west for nearly 42 years. My roles have included; Registered and Chartered Architect, Design Manager, team leader, conservation consultant and adviser, facilities manager and both Lead and Principal Designer. This has enabled me to become an "all round" construction and design professional, with both wide-ranging and specialist experience at all stages of construction, from; inception, to handover and beyond to maintenance, repair, adaptation, extension, reuse, conservation and redevelopment. This cumulative experience gained both as a team member and leader, has enabled me to add value at every stage to a project's development in the; defence, civic, commercial, industrial, residential and heritage sectors.
