I have worked in the disability industry for over 10years, I started out as a support worker, then a senior support worker and no assistant area manager. I have been at 4lifeskills for all of those 10 years. 4Lifeskills formally known as SMP lifeskills2work. I have seen so many changes within our company and with the NDIS. I have adapted to them well. I manage 26 staff, 20 car fleet and 60 clients at the moment. So yeah work is busy, but keeps me grounded. I also had 7 years experience working in an aged care setting in a 48 bed locked dementia wing which was quite challenging. I deal with stressful situations quite well, and have good communication skills. This has helped me to get through the most difficult situations we can face. I have a strong work ethic, people skills, time management and a good sense of humour. That’s enough about me, don’t want to shine to much lol
