About John Winter

I have been in the catering and hospitality industry since I was 14 years old. Starting initially washing pots and cleaning function rooms from then I was hooked, I've worked in many aspects of the industry, pubs, hotels, cafes, restaurants including working front of house and back of house. I love the industry, although I am also very capable when it comes to working front of house my heart will always be in the kitchen, that said I do fully understand the importance of team and will do anything that is needed to help us succeed. Most of my recent experience has been in the garden centre and farm shop side of the industry, the joy of this side is the hours allow me to spend more time with my wife and children, whilst at the same time working with fresh food, local suppliers, writing menus and experiencing all the joys of a busy lunch time service.
