About John Wright

30+ year experience in the multi-national, high-tech sector, transitioning from an initial Systems Engineering background through all facets of the high-technology and aerospace/defence systems business process. Served with globally recognized corporations inclusive of Litton (Northrop Grumman), Honeywell, British Aerospace, Smiths Industries (GE Aerospace), in technical, or executive managerial roles, inclusive of Engineering, Operations and Business Development disciplines. From there transitioned to hands-on executive management of smaller technology-based enterprises, inclusive of 3 Toronto Stock Exchange listed entities, in Chief Executive, or Chief Operating Officer functions. Extensive experience in the pursuit and capture of major defence procurements, inclusive of proposal management and authoring, both domestically, and internationally. Similarly knowledge and participation in the creation and implementation of programs that support or complement such prime procurements (e.g. IRB, SADI, SR & ED, ….). Significant past/present clients include: Teledyne, BAE Systems, General Dynamics, Dew Engineering, Trimble/Applanix, Kelowna Flightcraft, several Defence/Aerospace SMEs, and Government of Canada.
