Background
About John Wyatt
Currently the Flight Chief for the Public Health office at Whiteman AFB in Missouri. Where I oversee 13 active duty and civilian members, 40 programs and a $420K budget. Previously, I was the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 509th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron at Whiteman AFB, MO. Responsible for the support, training and equipping of the 163 personnel assigned. Additionally, serving as the advisor to the commander on all enlisted matters. Prior to my arrival at Whiteman AFB, I was working in the field of Talent Management for the 412 Force Support Squadron and 412 Mission Support Group. Providing services that include individual and group mentoring sessions and mediation. Additionally, I build and teach trainings covering a vast array of subjects such as Self-Concept, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership and Management Skills, and Bullet Writing. Each training is designed around my development series called "A Better You, A Better Us," and is available to both civilians and military. Additionally, I was an Enlisted Professional Military Education (EPME) Instructor at the Airman Leadership School located on Edwards AFB, CA. My duties included educating, training and building the future Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) of the Air Force, as well as Navy, Army, Marines and DoD civilian personnel. As such, I not only taught standards and enforced them, but I groomed my students to become better Airman, Guardians, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and individuals. The classes that were taught under my purview are qualified and backed by the Community College of the Air Force. I have held the duty title of Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Force Health Management Element (FHM), prior to becoming an Instructor. Within FHM, I oversaw both the Occupational Health and Deployment Medicine programs, accounting for over annual medical requirements for nearly 3,200 personnel working and assigned to Edwards AFB, CA. My educational background includes a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University-Shreveport; BA in Political Science from Saint Joseph's College in Indiana. As well as several certifications that include 5 Voices Instructor, Certified Professional Innovator, Certified Senior Innovation Coach, Talent Management & Optimization, and Master Resiliency Trainer.
