About John Xing

I am a Cyber Security Engineer specialized in both technical and client-facing large-scale project implementations. My experiences has given me the opportunity to work with many of the most widely-adopted security products on the market, in an implementation and deployment setting across large organizations. Here is a snippet of what I do: Lead enterprise-level projects for Fortune 100-500 clients Work collaboratively with DevOps teams to prepare and design solutions based on the clients' system infrastructure to provide the most suitable package based on their needs and technical specs Deliver formal presentations of project roadmaps, outlines, and deliverables to large audiences of managers and director Act as the lead-communications source between internal development teams and clients to clearly convey heavily technical messages, as well as translate client requirements into engineering design specifications Currently, I work on Next-Gen SOAR (Security Orchestration Automation and Response) as a duo-role of professional consultant and implementation engineer. I engage with SOC teams directly to build out a fully automated Incident Response platform based on their current SOPs and security hardening appetite. The ever-evolving and innovative nature of my job endlessly fuels my curiosity and passion for this industry.
