About John Young

Since a young age, I have always been interested in all aspects of property. All my free time was spent driving around looking at properties and searching for newly released properties on the market. It was my passion to be involved with property though I didn’t know what aspect. I started getting some experience in the industry when I was still at school, working whenever I had the free time, be that weekends or weekdays. I’ve gained experience from a number of real estate firms, including Brock Hardcourts, Weeks & Macklin and LJ Hooker. Whilst working I progressed my learning at University and completed my Bachelor in Business Property in 2014 and continued on to get my Land Agents license in 2015. Since I started my career in property development, I have worked on a number of projects, both independently and conjointly. I had the opportunity to work on the Northern Lights Development Project which, to date has been one of the largest ongoing projects I have had the privilege of working on. In the span of my career, I have seen rezoning of land, experienced firsthand how to negotiate with councils and the public, seen 100s of drawing and plans go from rough sketches to finished drawings, helped in the engineering infrastructure of roadways and community plans, sort out new opportunities in the market, identified market trends, managed projects form start to finish as well as the managing project cash flows. In doing all this I have been able to worked alongside and learn from some of the most influential men and woman in property. Although I have been exposed to so much over my time, I'm still asking questions to extend my knowledge. I’m driven by my results and my passion for property. I am always committed to my clients and projects and look forward to building new relationships
