I am currently a Business Analyst serving mainly the drilling, pipeline, and ROV sectors of the offshore oil and gas industry. I have come into this position and become a skilled report writer. I create reports and KPI dashboards for upper management to shop floor personnel. Subjects have included: NCR, Manufacturing processes, spend analysis, and shop floor data collection techniques. I have started taking these subjects and incorporating them more into mobile friendly KPIs for on the go managers. With a high level of detail and visually appealing reports, my work continues to speak for itself. I started as a Material Analyst. I was one of the first to do this role. I helped to sculpt the position and wrote the process manual for it. I have also been able to do very specific job costing analysis, excess material root causes and costing. The material analyst role is taking on hand inventory and comparing it to the project BOM and making a decision to buy BOM material or substitute from existing inventory. This role has brought me closer into the engineering side by teaching me ASME/UNS material standards and reinforcing my AutoCAD P & ID/ISO skills. My costing and root cause analysis have become very detailed and thorough. I have been able to do all of this through the use of advanced SQL and excel query databases. It has also reinforced my excel skills which have become very professional. I have been the lead person on several of the analysis and costing projects. I have become known for dependable, timely, and accurate results.
