About Johnathon Choate

Hello, my name is John Choate and I am passionate about telling stories, especially yours. I have a passion and a gift for hearing peoples stories and bringing them to life for the world to see. The greatest story that I was unfortunately never able to tell was that of my grandfather, a proud Korean War Veteran who fought for our country. It haunts me to this day not bringing that story to life for the world to see. In response to that, as a passion project, I have worked to tell the stories of other veterans in my hometown of Kalona, Iowa at no cost to them. Through their stories I have been working on a documentary for their families and our communities so that they can share their gift of pride in storytelling. I look forward to premiering this project in the Summer of 2023 at our local 4th of July celebration. At Storyline I have partnered with my wife, Emily Choate, our cofounder to help brands and show their passion they have for their business, their gift and so much more.
