Forward-thinking, value-added professional with extensive experience in investment & corporate banking and finance. Dedicated leader with proven history of structuring, underwriting, credit risk management, financial analysis and client relations. Johnetta has spent 15 years of career at Truist Securities, formerly SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where she has been a dedicated teammate and a Director in Credit Delivery for the Industrials & Business Service Group for the last two years. Prior to this role, she oversaw multiple million dollar portfolios across Truist Securities and heritage STRH in her role in Portfolio Management in both the Boston and Atlanta offices, supporting the organization’s growth efforts. Johnetta sits on the Corporate & Investment Banking Diversity, Equity & Inclusion council and Diversity Recruiting team. Johnetta also serves as a mentor to junior staff and often takes on ad hoc roles to facilitate efficiencies and improvements in Credit Delivery. Her experience has allowed her to be promoted throughout her tenure at the organization. Outside her professional responsibilities, Johnetta sits on the Board of Girls of Excellence, Inc. and is a member of United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Women United Cabinet. She wishes to continue to give back and to encourage the next generation of leaders to excel beyond their wildest dreams through mentorship, her talents and her gifts. Johnetta received a bachelor degree from Spelman College in 2003 where she studied Economics. She received a master degree from Brandeis International Business School in 2006 where she concentrated in Economics and Finance. Johnetta is a avid believer in giving back. As such, she is a supporter of United Way, the Cole Society, the High Museum of Art, and the United Negro College Fund.
