Background

About Johnna G.

With over 17 years of experience in building code enforcement and code development, I am a seasoned professional in the field of commercial non-structural design. I have a solid track record of reviewing construction documents for multi-family, healthcare, and assisted living projects seeking HUD mortgage insurance, verifying compliance with building code, handicapped accessibility standards, and HUD mortgage insurance processing guidelines. As a former Architectural Plans Examiner at Dominion Due Diligence Group, I leveraged my skills in construction risk management, construction monitoring, and commercial real estate transactions to deliver high-quality services to clients and stakeholders. I also have extensive knowledge of the International Existing Building Code, fire-resistance design, mixed occupancy, fire protection, means of egress, accessibility, and energy conservation code. My goal is to apply my expertise and passion for building code excellence to support and enhance the safety, quality, and sustainability of the built environment.
