I am an accomplished product leader with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. As the Assistant Vice President of Product & Innovation at HKT Services Limited, I led a team of product managers to create innovative products on 4G/5G mobile data, VoIP, IoT, and chatbot that generated new revenue sources and maximize value for customers in both mass and enterprise markets. I have crafted and executed winning product strategies, building industry-leading roadmaps and prioritizing backlogs to create products that meet customer needs and deliver value. Some of my notable achievements include- Crafted compelling business cases and managed over US$1.2M in CAPEX funding- Successfully managed the business of 5G Wi-Fi routers, driving annual revenues exceeding US$700K- Enabled HKT to become the first mobile carrier in Hong Kong to provide M2M eSIM swapping with Ericsson IoT Accelerator and Thales eSIM OD-SM across the Asia Pacific region. Solved critical technical and resources issues with sophisticated interpersonal and project management skills- Achieved over units sold in Hong Kong with a market-leading and highly popular dog tracker device by capitalizing on the energy-efficient capabilities of NB-IoT technology- Championed the successful launch of a VoIP app on both iOS and Android platforms, within a challenging timeframe of just 6 months. Led the Engineering and Software Development teams with a goal-oriented approach, ensuring efficient collaboration and timely execution- Led a cross-functional team of IT and Customer Service specialists to design and successfully launch the first AI-powered Google Assistant for csl. customers, enabling them to perform self-service through voice chatbot. In addition to my product management expertise, I hold a Master of Engineering in Telecom & Information Security (MTIS) from the University of Victoria and a Master of Philosophy in Computer Science and Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Hong Kong.
