About Johnny Lundgren

The foundation of my skills lies in hardware. I began my career in 1991 with assembling computers and servers and selling them with our own brand called LOOP. From there I have extended my knowledge to include Windows Client and Server operating systems with AD/DNS implementations. Designing and integrating Windows Failover Clusters beginning with NT 4.0 and Oracle v8, followed by Windows with applications like Exchange, MS SQL, Lotus Domino. In parallel, working with backup solutions mostly based on Veritas/Symantec Backup Exec and different brands of libraries. I have worked with VMware ESX/vSphere solutions since version 3.0 and responsible for designing and integrating SAN-solutions based on both Fibre Channel and iSCSI. The hardware brands/models used in the SAN:s I have setup are for instance, Dell, Fujitsu, IBM, HP concerning servers and Fujitsu FibreCat/Eternus, HP MSA/Left Hand, dotHill, Dell EqualLogic, Hammer V2. Backup application vendors that I have experience from concerning virtualization solutions are Veeam and Symantec.
