My passion is safety and the security required to ensure it. Now a 15-year Veteran, I hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph (2018-present), recently transitioning to the Charlotte-Metro in 2024. My background is varied and adaptable, with significant and recent expertise in personnel security, in both government and corporate environments. Highlights of my experience include-Maintaining strict policy control in accordance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures regarding access control and proper handling of classified information-Processing, reviewing and analyzing personnel backgrounds and history for clearance, violations, and/or risk assessments-Overseeing user access to organization network, issuing appropriate credentials/badges, while ensuring strict data confidentiality-Protecting systems through the assignment of access privileges, control structures, and resources-Identifying and reporting system abnormalities-Managing intrusion detection, access control, and alarm response systems from Security Operations Center (SOC)-Developing, updating, and maintaining system documentation/files and SOPs, including emergency response plans, and procedures to address security threats-Conducting security briefings and trainings-Evaluating staff processes and procedures for security risks, and implementing solutions to address deficiencies-Proficiency managing compliance programs and activities for facilities and personnel-Payroll management-Managing personnel and facilities-Heavy volume call/dispatch
