Hello! My name is Johnny O Connell, an Environmental, Health and Safety advisor with a strong passion for ensuring workplace safety and regulatory compliance across various industry sectors whilst upholding environmental standards also. As an Environmental Science graduate and EHS professional, I specialise in mitigating risks by implementing suitable control measures which are then applied in the field and subsequently audited to ensure a compliant, and safe system of work is in place. I protect both the employee, and the companies I work for in ensuring environmental, health and safety standards are met, whilst constantly developing a stronger safety culture in the workplace. I've also conducted a research project on major accidents across various process industry sectors and their contributing factors, displaying my interest in the fields of healthy and safety, and identifying root causes of accidents within their investigations. I'm driven by a commitment to creating safe and sustainable work environments. Protecting people and the environment is much more than just a job for me—it's a personal mission to make a positive impact through diligent compliance and proactive safety initiatives.
