About Johnny Pummill

Johnny Pummill began his soccer career in the 70s in Memphis, TN. He grew up in the shadow of the Memphis Rogues of the NASL and along with attending every home game the team ever played he played travel soccer in the early days of competitive youth soccer in the area includingseveral state championship teams in both youth and adult. A childhood injury eventually caught up to him and he ended his playing career in It did not stop his coaching which had started in 1985 and continued until 2010. A firm believer in coaching education he holds the National Goalkeeper, National Diploma and National Youth License. John was a staff coaching instructor for Mississippi for 11 years and an ODP goalkeeping coach for 9. He has worked with 7 regional level ODP keepers and 5 All Conference collegiate keepers. John is one of the few, if not the only coach to have made it to the finals in every division and both genders in Mississippi soccer. The processes for Rogue goalkeeping were started before his retirement from coaching but the company did not open publicly until 2011. Rogue was started because he could not find what he was looking for; professional quality goalkeeper equipment at an affordable price. Specialties: Anything goalkeeping related.
