About Johnny Tran

A former Leading Senior Constable at Victoria Police with extensive history in policing spanning over a decade, I have worked in various departments with many different roles.I am adept at managing critical incidents, family violence specialist, victim support, managing investigations, utilising multiple computing systems, and working collaboratively with multi-agencies managing 'at risk' youth. I enjoy advocating a safe workplace and was elected as a ‘Health and Safety Representative’ covering three local government areas. Work ethic, community focus and a healthy positive workplace is what I value. My passion is social work with young people. There's no better feeling than being a mentor, providing guidance, support and knowledge that helps to steer toward genuine change for young people and their families. This has lead me to Queensland working at Act For Kids with like minded people.
