I thrive when empowering people, building coalitions, leading change, and delivering data-driven outcomes for complex challenges:🪂 After serving in Desert Shield / Desert Storm (82nd Airborne, U.S. Army), I began my healthcare journey as a patient transporter and orthopedic technician while earning a Civil Engineering degree. As a Civil Engineer, I directed major infrastructure projects for 9+ years, achieving notable success in design and construction as a Project Engineer.🩺 Returning to healthcare, I served as a surgical consultant and IT Program Manager / Project Manager. During my 6 years at a Top 15 Health System, I led highly strategic programs: Cerner Millennium Interoperability, Health Information Exchange (HIE), Population Health, and Public Health Reporting. Equipped with a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree and international entrepreneurial expertise, I am poised for even greater challenges and opportunities: Inducted member of Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health. Collaborated on an European Union (EU) innovation grant proposal with 15 European universities, health systems, and the World Health Organization. Co-founded and led a multi-country Value Based Healthcare expert global collaborative. Contributed to complex EU policy development through the Centre for European Policy Studies. Facilitated a 400% increase in regional, state, and federal health information exchange connections. Integrated over 3.1 million unique patient medical records into the HIE enterprise architecture. Served as Design-Build Liaison on a $780 million contract within a $2.6 billion design-build portfolio. Managed a $740 million elevated rail/subway reconstruction project. Led state and federal-aid contracts totaling over $150 million:My highest aspiration is to positively influence how we care for ourselves and one another across the world. I have been privileged to help many vulnerable underserved populations, including: On-site support to Ukrainian refugees in Warsaw, Poland through the World Central Kitchen. Serving as a foster parent, hospice volunteer, Red Cross volunteer, and supporter of the HIV-AIDS communities.
