My name is Johnson Mensah, Water Engineer with a Master's degree in Energy Engineering and a PhD in Environment and Water Resources, specializing in innovative solutions for the energy and environmental sector. I am communicative, motivated and focused, with excellent organizational skills, delivering great results. With over 10 years of experience in research and project development in the energy and environmental sector, I am highly qualified and experienced in a variety of disciplines, including sanitation, hydraulics, geoprocessing, energy planning and renewable energy technologies. In addition, I have led engineering projects, such as the sizing of reversible hydroelectric plants and environmental impact studies. My career is marked by significant contributions to the sustainable energy transition, with a focus on energy storage systems, energy system modeling and integration of renewable sources, in addition to the development of studies on hydroelectric uses and public policies that encourage the energy transition and decarbonization. I'm seeking new challenges and opportunities for my professional growth, which allow me to apply my skills and knowledge in projects that drive innovation and sustainability within the water and/or energy engineering sector and industries in general. My goal is to contribute to the development of solutions that optimize the use of water and energy resources, promoting a balance between efficiency, cost-benefit and environmental impact. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing sports, cooking and traveling to discover new cultures, as well as helping my community through social actions.
