About Jolie Hackney

My greatest passion is learning, as a means to empower myself and others. I believe "the more you know," the more you know you have a lot to learn! I attended DePaul University because of its social justice-based mission and set my intentions to be thoroughly involved throughout my undergraduate career. I thrived in my endeavors in International Studies, Geography, and French, and gained work experience within and extending from the world of academia. The communities in which I have lived and worked all continuously offer me perspective on the systems we live by, and challenge me to conceive how we can better them. My experiences have built my skills in analytical thinking, verbal and written communications, and independent and collaborative project management to back my passion for equity. I have learned from school, from working for non-profit and academic organizations, including abroad, and I would say above all, from the people I have met throughout.
