I am a Senior Finance Manager with over 14 years of professional experience in the Government Contracting (GovCon) industry. As a NANA shareholder and committed Akima leader, I am deeply invested in advancing our company’s mission while contributing to its long-term financial health and strategic objectives. My professional journey began as a Logistics Specialist and evolved to managing financial operations while working closely with Akima's senior leadership team. I have successfully overseen budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and compliance efforts for multiple operating companies within Akima. Notable accomplishments include leading Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) optimization initiatives, achieving industry-leading results that reflect my focus on efficiency and impact. These experiences have laid a strong foundation in financial analysis and operational strategy, which I now leverage to tackle high-impact projects at the organizational level. Currently pursuing my MBA at the Wharton School, I am honing my expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, and strategic implementation. My coursework and special projects have enhanced my ability to develop advanced financial models, evaluate capital structures, and identify innovative strategies that strengthen Akima’s competitive position. I have conducted extensive analyses, including a Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) model and investment framework, delivering actionable insights to support Akima’s growth trajectory. As I prepare to graduate from Wharton, I am committed to embedding advanced strategic insights into Akima’s financial and operational practices.
