About Jolonda Ware

Born and Raised in Greensboro NC, Jolonda Ware aka JoJo Got The Juice, is a 2011 graduate of the Academy At Smith High School. She is also a 2015 Graduate North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University. She graduated with her Bachelor's in Journalism Mass Communication. During her time at NC A&T, JoJo developed a dynamic passion for Radio through empowered speaking, as a panelist and nonprofit activist. In August 2015 she was chosen to be on A&T Today, a Radio news Show featured on WNAA 90.1 The Voice. From 2014-2015, JoJo interned with 102 JAMZ' Waleed Coyote and in 2015-2016 ToshaMakia as a social media manager. Her responsibilities consist of implementing the company’s content strategy, creating relevant content, blogging, community participation and leadership. She was offered an on-air personality position with 102 JAMZ in August 2016. Since 2011 she has strived to excel and be the change American society wishes to see. Jolonda is a nonprofit activist, panelist and empowered speaker for Working America. As a member of Working America, Ware politically fights for our common societal interests such as good jobs, affordable health care, education, retirement security, corporate accountability and real democracy. Jolonda is also a member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Jolonda is a part of hundreds of phenomenal women striving to become the nation’s leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. Jolonda believes this is the initiation to establishing a successful career as a radio personality and media specialist. Jolonda intends to utilize and even create social platform opportunities to speak to and with society on common issues.
