About Jom Primkaew

As a seasoned product designer, draftsman, CAD/CAM engineer and additive manufacturing engineer/technician, I specialize in leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including 3D printing, 3D scanning, and generative design, all of which heavily rely on my expertise in CAD and FEA analysis. Proficient in various manufacturing methods such as 3D printing, machining, joining, forming, and casting, I bring a versatile skill set to product design. I hold a master’s degree in Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing, and during my academic journey, I gained hands-on experience with advanced equipment, including the Formiga P100 and Fuse 1 (SLS printer) over a span of two years. My educational background also equipped me with a robust understanding of engineering design principles, material properties, and applications, coupled with practical experience in creating mechanical technical drawings. With a comprehensive knowledge of CAD tools like NX, Fusion 360 and SOLIDWORKS, I have successfully operated various 3D printers, both metal and polymer-based, such as Formiga P100 (SLS), Stratasys F370 (FDM), Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle Formlabs Fuse 1 (SLS), Form 3L (SLA), and Renishaw AM250 (SLM). My proficiency extends to data preparation and STL slicer software for additive manufacturing, including Cura, Photon Workshop, and Preform.
