About Jon Ahrendsen

Jon Ahrendsen MD, is a Board Certified Family Physician who practice is located at Iowa Specialty Hospital Clarion Clinic in Clarion, Iowa. He practices the full scope of family medicine from newborns & obstetrics to nursing home & hospice. The majority of his clinical work now is the evaluation and management of children and adults with ADD/ADHD and ASD. An experienced physician assistant, Karn Johansen PAC, assists Dr. Ahrendsen with evaluation and management. She usually sees patients on Fridays & some Saturdays. Our services include both conventional prescription medications and biomedical interventions. Nearly all insurance plans are accepted, and payment plans are available. We have seen patients from across Iowa and some from the surrounding states. We will do our best to help your child within your family situation and your budget.
