About Jon Applebaum

Throughout my professional career, I have been determined to improve the lives of others and the community by facilitating opportunities. What started as practicing law, combined with creating laws and representing my hometown community at the State Capitol, has evolved into my current role as an advisor at Morgan Stanley. I really, really care about my clients. I strive to be not just their advisor, but an indispensable and important person in their lives. My role has never been limited to the service I provide, rather it’s most often characterized by a meaningful relationship and partnership. I make myself available, and I open and leverage my network. I do whatever it takes to help my clients, their families, their other professional advisors, and the community. Working with foundations and other nonprofits is a meaningful part of my practice, and a natural fit for me. Doing so follows a consistent progression of my career: being a fiduciary dedicated to superior service, good judgment, and the best interests of the community. Helping other fiduciaries achieve their organization’s mission and make a greater impact on the community is particularly inspiring, fulfilling, and fun!
