About Jon Burke

I am an accounting major who has a strong work ethic and loves seeing a project finished the right way. Some of my many hobbies are fishing, sim-racing, biking, and hanging out with my friends. As of April 2019, I have been the treasurer of the Iowa State Fishing Club. When I see my future career, I see a team oriented environment. My past jobs has supported this idea, and I enjoy working in a place where each team member helps each other to create a truly great end product. My communicational skills have always been something I pride myself on, and I have been able to practice these skills in groups throughout past jobs, schooling, or through the fishing club. I also very much enjoy working through a project, whether it be the planning or execution stages. I have always been an organized person, so to me there is nothing better than organizing a project structure and producing a clean and organized finished product. Working through spreadsheets has also been a strong suit of mine due to my organizational skills.
