About Jon Bush

Jon is a Director and Chartered Engineer in PwC's Capital Projects and Infrastructure team, and he helps his clients to improve the delivery of their complex programmes. He applies his advisory and delivery experience across a range of capital programmes, providing strategic advice on complex procurements and helping his clients realise supply chain efficiencies. In addition Jon’s a People Director, is passionate about promoting a fair culture that embraces difference, and is responsible for identifying and managing talent within the team. Recently Jon has: Led a number of cost based transformation projects on multi-billion pound maritime and air programmes, with a particular focus on commercial strategy, negotiating improved commercial arrangements with suppliers, identifying efficiencies and implementing plans to reduce them; Conducted due diligence of a multi-billion pound organisation, reviewing their contract portfolio and identifying risks in their supply chain to support his client's acquisition; and Mobilised and managed first time outsourced contracts, valued at over £500m. This included developing the contract management strategy, improving supplier performance and negotiating the settlement of multi-million pound claims. Jon has also conducted a number of capital project reviews across Europe and the Middle East. These identified the delivery challenges and risks on programmes in the healthcare, construction and energy sectors. His work included providing advice on contracting best practice and assessing the maturity of the organisation's supply chain functions.
