I am a highly motivated individual with extensive leadership experience and a track record of operating in a boardroom and advisory setting, in both Chair and Board member capacity. I have successfully operated in a business environment to support organisations nurture, develop and achieve their strategic goals and ambitions. Results focussed, I have created value through building and developing relationships whilst working closely with key stakeholders and partners. My knowledge and business awareness is extensive across large companies through to mid-sized corporates, SME’s and start-ups. During my career, I have demonstrated an ability to identify strategic opportunities and challenges, with a proven track record in implementing and delivering organisational transformation. A change agent, fostering followership within the teams I have led, I have consistently surpassed performance objectives.An experienced Corporate & Business Banker, I operated in leadership roles at Director level within Barclays for 20 years, leading teams across various geographies and segments. Immediately prior to leaving Barclays, I built and led a new national Lending Centre of Excellence operation within Barclays Business Banking.Currently I am a consultant with TC Group Business Advisors & Accountants, alongside my role as Strategy Partner with Franklins Solicitors LLP and am an Appointed Representative with Commercial Sense as a Banking Consultant. Furthermore, I have valuable experience as a Chair and Executive in various private and public sector partnership organisations.
