A senior communications professional working for one of Britain’s largest and most newsworthy organisations. I oversee a team responsible for public affairs, stakeholder management and media relations between London and Scotland, via Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, the West Midlands and north west. Supporting a national strategy, complemented by a tailored communications plan to meet the demands of a devolved organisation, my team and I promote and protect Network Rail’s reputation liaising closely with the media, MPs and a range of key stakeholders. A collaborative approach with partners is designed to promote one industry and one team, working to highlight the significant investment taking place in the rail network across Britain. Positive relationships with senior management, both internally and externally, as well as strong contacts across departments helps to deliver clear, defined and targeted messaging to a range of audiences.
