About Jon D. Groussman

Jon is nationally recognized for advising private corporations and government entities on crime prevention strategies, as well as post-incident response and analysis. He frequently provides expert forensic analysis in litigation charging negligent security. In addition, Jon regularly conducts training seminars, sharing his expertise in the areas of security and premises liability at national and international conferences/seminars. He has been retained by numerous companies to educate and train their employees on topics such as risk assessment and workplace violence. Jon has also taught courses in civil liability and the legal aspects of security management at Northeastern University. In the past, he has served as an investigative aide to the Department of Justice and Drug Enforcement Administration in New York and Boston; he has also performed internal investigations for the U.S. Customs Service. He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), the International Association of Crime Analysts and the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC).
