About Jon Dunkley

Jon is a Partner and heads Wollens Commercial Department. He is probably best known for his employment work, primarily advising businesses on their employment contracts, directors service agreements, and in relation to share and business acquisitions. He also litigates employment matters, regularly issuing and defending employment claims in the Tribunals and in the County and High Courts. He advises professional and senior employees on their regulatory obligations, post termination restrictions, contractual negotiations and on settling employment disputes. He is a member of the Employment Law Association. He is also known for his licensing practice, regularly on applications for premises licenses and representing business clients at licensing hearings and licensing appeals. He also assists licence holders in defending their licences when called in for review. Jon also advises on a wide range of other general business matters such as professional and regulatory requirements, data protection, planning law, environmental law, intellectual property and general contract issues. Jon worked as a university law lecturer, environmental consultant and researcher before qualifying as a solicitor.
