About Jon Frandsen

Began as a Production Intern with Dan Ryan Builders in the Summer of 2012 to start to learn the home building industry and began building both single family and townhomes in Raleigh, Wake Forest, and Mebane ranging from the $100k-300k range. After completing my degree in Building Science/Construction Management at Appalachian State in the Fall of 2012, I returned to Dan Ryan Builders as a full time Superintendent building townhomes and lot line single family homes. Eventually I took a position in the office to learn the business side of the industry and set up program guidelines for future purchasing agents to follow behind me along with setting up initial procedures and processes for various purchasing functions. I left the office to go back to building to help educate the other builders and help them understand the correct way to go about particular processes in order to help streamline items for the field while also maintaining my position as a Superintendent with houses ranging from $250k-500k price range. I took a position at Mungo Homes as a Purchasing Agent were I managed all exterior cost codes and any cost code up until drywall with the expection of MEP's for the entire company, currently 8 markets in 4 states, with roughly 150 vendors under my perview. Foundations are an item I specialize in with having experiernce with most of the common foundations found in the South Eastern markets that production builders use, but also having experience with specialty foundation types: helical pier, post-tension slabs, and Superior Wall Systems. I currently manage the entire purchasing operation in the Raleigh Market for Mungo Homes doing north of 300 houses and revenue totaling over $100 million per year. We currently building price points from the low $200s to the $700's. I am a dedicated purchasing and operations profressional with a blue collar work ethic who is always looking to expand my knowledge when it comes to the homebuilding industry.
