About Jon Gothold

I was one of a dozen people that started an ad agency in Irvine California back in January of 1988. That agency was called DGWB Advertising, and over the course of 30 years, we did a whole bunch of work that I am really proud of. We had several Partnership changes over the years and even changed our name to Amusement Park in early 2015, which it is still called to this day. The longest running Partnership was with Mike Weisman, Mandi Dossin and myself, who were all founders of the agency and ran it together as Partners for 20 years. Mandi retired in 2015, and after 30 years, four months and four days, I retired from Amusement Park as well. As of May 2018, we had employed just over people, which might be our greatest legacy of all. Great people go on to do great things in the world, and our batting average for hiring great people was the best in the business.
